The Major League Baseball season officially opens today. This will be the final season for the NY Mets at Shea Stadium as the new Citi Field will open next door in 2009. This is the patch that the Mets will be wearing throughout the season.NY won today on the road against the Marlins finally stopping that losing streak that they ended the ‘07 season with. (a/k/a the biggest collapse in MLB history) Let Go Mets Go!
